Producing is my passion.
I delight in breaking down a job into its constituent parts and putting it back together, cultivating it in the process. Developing the creative. Collaborating with the director. Casting the best talent, especially the exciting experience of discovering someone new. Capturing the images and working closely with the editor and post team to marry those images to music and effects. I am passionate about all of it.
I brought my passion for producing to McCann Erickson, where I Executive Produced the $300 million Lowe’s Home Improvement account as well as U.S. Army, Applebee’s and Major League Baseball (a dream account for a baseball fan!), often juggling two or more accounts simultaneously. I also brought my passion to Backer Spielvogel Bates, where I produced some of the famous “Tastes Great/Less Filling” spots and the launch campaign for Miller Genuine Draft, and to Wells, Rich, Greene, where the accounts I produced included Procter & Gamble, Chase Bank, Ralston Purina, and Sunoco.
My freelance work led me to Cliff Freeman & Partners, Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners, and Fallon McElligott/NY, among other agencies, on accounts as diverse as Toyota, Audi, Coke and Little Caesar’s Pizza, which was awarded a Golden Lion at Cannes.
Along the way I have been honored to work with some amazing directors, including Tony Scott, Dante Ariola, Jake Scott, Nick Cassavetes, Brian Buckley, Kinka Usher, Peggy Sirota, Sophie Muller, Jim Sheridan, and Sam Bayer. These collaborations afforded me the opportunity to win every major Advertising award, including several Effies, a Clio, a Director’s Club award, an AICP award, and a Cannes Golden Lion.
Like I said, producing is my passion.
